After having it screen at the Kansas City FilmFest in April, they have just released it on Youtube, and have a Blu Ray release soon! Hello and welcome to our Halloween special!
Bad news, looks like an evil entity is on the loose. The only thing that can contain it is if we do another cast. Just kidding, we wanted to pay tribute to Freddy Krueger and his creator Wes Craven by taking a look at Wes Craven's New Nightmare! What happens when a Johns Hopkins Writing/Philosphy double major graduate makes a film about horror films? You get a frightening, meta-as-hell look at one of the best horror creations of all time! 1994 audiences were not ready for this level of meta-horror, but we are! This is our salute and farewell to the man who changed the face of horror forever.
RIP, Wes Craven.

Welcome to the conclusion of this year's Hitchcocktober!
This week we talk about Hitchcock's comedy The Trouble With Harry. In this until recently lost entry in the Hitchcock canon, a group of townsfolk must deal with a dead body that has shown up in the woods. Also notable about this film is it's Hitchcock's first collaboration with Bernard Herman, as well as having launched a few acting careers. So enjoy while we talk The Trouble With Harry!

We hit our $15 Patreon goal recently, so this week we went back to SeltzerBerg for their to date only non-parody comedy! Surprisingly, we were a little kinder to this one than we originally thought we would be. "Surprisingly" isn't quite the right word. More like "Frustratingly", because of what it could have been. If you all remember waaaaaaay back to episode 12, we ripped into The Last Airbender and mourned the fall of Shyamalan. Well.. consider this an addendum to that episode, because we both saw Shyamalan's latest film, The Visit, last week, and we have some thoughts. Needless to say we get utter some phrases that we never thought we'd get to say again.
As to Austin's plea at the end of the epidsode, it worked! They now have a beautiful daughter on whom they dote often.

Welcome!
This week we delve into the deep, dark realm of TV shows that evolved from movies. TV hastaken its cue from film ever since television was first broadcast, and the two mediums have grown side-by-side ever since. As such, there has been a lot of.. bleeding over from one to other, often with mixed results. We explore the best and worst TV shows we remember (mostly animated; who would have thought animation would be such a popular medium for adapting movies?) and explore what the future of what film-to-TV could become!
