Hello and Welcome!

This week we hit on one of our favorite films, Sophia Copella's Lost In Translation. We answer some important questions behind the film, such as What is the inspiration? What is the Suntori Time commercial director really saying? Why doesn't Sophia Copella get more work? (That one is actually beyond us.)

On the back half of the cast, we do an Oscar post-mortum, as well as Austin's thoughts on Deadpool, and Albert's thoughts on The Hateful Eight.

Well no, actually. We both saw Zootopia and WOW, we were floored by what it had to offer. We thought it was the ballsiest Disney film to date for one EXTREMELY hot button reason. We explore these themes and generally wax about what a well built (not perfect, but very well built) film this is. We also compare and contrast with another select film. We've made a name for ourselves trying to look for the low bar, but this once, we have to pay homage to the high bar; this is probably the best film we've focused the cast on to date. So strap in, because it's going to be a long (but very enjoyable) ride!

Our topic this week is the state of Christian film, and how it could be MUCH better. Austin, Albert, and guest Zephyr Ash call out a few of the worst examples, including the infamous God's Not Dead. We've also found the bottom of the barrel when it comes to both Christian film AND exploitation, so don't miss that. Please enjoy.

WARNING: This film is graphically explicit and almost made all three of us vomit. If you have a strong constitution, we feel it's very much worth a watch, however.
